Power cut announced for parts of Chennai

CHENNAI: Tangedco has announced a power shutdown for different parts of Chennai on Tuesday (Jan 12) for maintenance work. According to a release, the power supply will be suspended in Kadapperi, Royapettah, and Kolathur areas from 9 am to 2 pm. Supply will be restored before 2 pm if work is completed. In Kadapperi, power will be suspended in Kamach Nagar, Housing Board, Durga Nagar, Thiruvalluvar Street, and surrounding areas. In Royaettah, there will be power cut on Peters Road, Dr. Besant Road, Bharathi Salai, West Cott Road, J J Khan Road, in Gaffore Sahib Street, Devaraj Street, Gazattee Begum Street, Balaji Nagar, Ice House, Triplicane area, Nayar Varatha Pillai Street and surrounding areas. In Kolathur, power will be suspended in Jayaram Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Ashoka Avenue, Kambar Nagar, Poompuhar Nagar, Vasantham Nagar, Venus Nagar, Lakshipuram, Vetri Nagar area, Ramamurthy Colony, Sai Nagar, Avvai Nagar, Teachers Colony, and surrounding areas

In Kolathur, power will be suspended in Jayaram Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Ashoka Avenue, Kambar Nagar, Poompuhar Nagar, Vasantham Nagar, Venus Nagar, Lakshipuram, Vetri Nagar area, Ramamurthy Colony, Sai Nagar, Avvai Nagar, Teachers Colony, and surrounding areas.
